iSchoolAfrica and Tshepiso Mokoena Foundation launched the partnership programme, #DeafGirlsCode at Dominican School for the Deaf, Hamanskraal. The programme trained 10 deaf girls in the basics of Swift.

Coding Clubs are a fun way to learn to code and design apps. The activities help learners collaborate as they learn how to code, prototype and design apps. Clubs can be held after school, or over the holidays.
Coding for inclusion – for learners with disabilities
The inclusive coding programme aims to empower learners of all abilities by providing them with the tools and resources to learn coding in a supportive and inclusive environment. The beneficiaries of the programme are learners attending inclusive schools including those with disabilities and learning differences.
Sponsor a learner to become an app developer
Sponsor a learner to attend Imbeleko Foundation’s Apple Authorized Training Centre for Education .The programme offers rural learners with potential the opportunity to receive a global certification. The centre, in partnership with iSchoolAfrica offers App Development with Swift certification exams for students who demonstrate their ability to build amazing apps.

In celebration of #MandelaDay, iSchoolAfrica ran free #67MinutesOfCode sessions at selected iStores across South Africa. Over 360 learners entered the world of code and explored the fundamentals of Swift.
